Guttering & Fascias in Worcester

Worcester's roofscape is genuinely mixed. The cathedral quarter and streets around the city centre carry Georgian townhouses and Victorian terraces with natural slate and clay tile roofs, many of them original or close to it. Further out through St John's and Barbourne, solid Victorian and Edwardian bay-fronted terraces give way to inter-war semis, and the estates toward the ring road are mostly post-war concrete tile construction.

Blocked or failing guttering is one of the most common causes of damp we see on these properties — water that should be carried away instead runs down the wall or pools at the foundations. Older cast iron guttering, common on period properties across the city centre, is particularly prone to rust and cracking once it starts to fail.
